Emotional Crisis Survival (ECS)

Panic Attacks - Emotional Overwhelm - Behavioral Outbursts

Learn simple and effective skills and strategies to help students reset during stressful events.

Emotional crises are on the rise at school.

Do you know how to help an overwhelmed student to recover rapidly and effectively?

The Key to Emotional Crisis Survival

Simple Repeatable Steps

Our Emotional Crisis Survival protocol is simple to learn and easy to do — even in an emergency. It’s like CPR for emotions.

We teach you how to help your student (and even ourselves!) reset their emotions so they can stop spinning their wheels and regain emotional control.

Everyone should know these skills — just as we should all know CPR.

Stress Response Reversal

Strong emotions are stressful. Emotional situations initiate our “Fight-Flight” response. It’s difficult (but not impossible) to think clearly when we’re in this mode.

In our Emotional Crisis Survival workshop, you will learn fast acting, evidence based skills to reset our bodies and brains.

This gives a distressed student the space to think more clearly and problem solve more effectively.

Beyond Mental Health First Aid

School staff and parents can learn how to support students BEFORE the situation becomes more dire.

As trusted adults, we can model and teach our students the skills to manage their emotions more effectively — even in everyday stressful situations.
